I am a proud local and community advocate. I have lived in the area for 35 years and raised my six kids here with my husband Graeme. Over the years, I’ve built strong connections with locals and become deeply familiar with the day-to-day challenges and values of our community. I care about what matters to you.

Prior to being asked to run for Parliament I worked hard to build a career in community organisations that delivered services and improved infrastructure in our area. I am a former Director of Revesby Worker’s Club, former Chair of Bankstown Canterbury Community Transport, former President of the Bankstown Touch Football Association, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

I’m also a passionate advocate for women’s rights and supporting local women in any way possible. In 2021 I helped set up Biyani House in Revesby, a shelter for women and children needing emergency accommodation. This was the first women’s shelter established in the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA. I’m proud of my role in setting up and supporting this shelter, just as I am proud of all the work I’ve done in our local community. In 2018 I was honoured to be recognised as Canterbury Bankstown’s Volunteer of the Year.

Sport has always been an important part of my life, from representing Australia on an international level with touch football, to setting up the Bankstown Touch Football Association, and still playing netball and soccer locally.

I am honoured to be the state member for East Hills, and I promise to continue to serve our community.
