I am pleased to inform you that the Chris Minns Labor Government have listened to our community and will not proceed with the proposed November timetable changes for the T8 train line!

Thank you to everyone in our community who spoke to me about these changes.

I've been speaking to the Premier and Transport Minister for the last two weeks and I want to thank them for listening to our community.

T8 to continue services to Sydenham Station

The Liberals had no plan to deliver better transport services for our community, failing to invest in our T8 service and even considering cancelling Southwest Metro.

Under Premier Chris Minns and his Labor Government, we're opening Southwest Metro and investing $2.1 billion in rail maintenance and incident response to improve reliability for all commuters.

This is so you can spend less time commuting and have more time at home for the things that matter.

There's more work to do, but I'll keep working with Premier Chris Minns to make life easier for families across our community.
